'I whipped out the short and I really felt her dad's spirit and energy when I was writing it,' Maurice explained. And so, the idea for 'Rosie' was born.

After losing her father, she found solace in writing and poured her emotions into a short film about the Sixties Scoop. 'I didn't realize that this whole other world existed,' Bray reflected on her experience.
